As the Sentieo platform continues to innovate and grow, the team is proud to announce the latest set of features to our iOS apps. In this latest release, we’ve introduced a few key updates to our iPhone app: the Pre/Post-Market Briefings, iOS Widgets, and Scatterplot functionality.

In this release, we wanted to emphasize the power of relevant/user-generated data being pushed to you so that you’re always up to date on the information that you want. These new features help with just that.

With our new Pre/Post-Market Briefings, you won’t ever miss an update from a ticker that is a part of your starred watchlist. Within this feature, you can customize how much information you want to receive from each section (On the Blog, Upcoming Earnings, Watchlist Updates, Today’s Briefing, etc.), and the ability to turn on/off or rearrange each section. You can also tailor the time zone and the exact time in which you want to receive these alerts. We wanted to give you the ability to fully customize your briefings as you see fit!

Our iOS widgets will ensure that you can view any upcoming earnings, watchlist/market prices, or access a specific part of Sentieo directly from your Home Screen. We wanted to make it easier for you to get all sorts of key information pushed to you without having to access the Sentieo app. Simply access the widgets menu, search for Sentieo, and immediately access 4 different types of widgets in various sizes:

1. Upcoming Earnings
2. Watchlist
3. Quick Access (Document Search, Notebook, Quick Access)
4. Markets

Finally, with the Scatterplot functionality, you can create visualizations of financial metrics between any company/watchlist. Whenever you access our Comparable Analysis tool within the Sentieo iPhone app, simply tap on the scatterplot icon on the top right of the screen to immediately compare companies or watchlists based on the metrics of your choosing.

The team here at Sentieo is always working to improve our mobile applications to provide the best user experience. Our newly released version of Sentieo for iPhone app helps analysts and strategists supercharge their research workflow without skipping a beat regarding the news, documents, or price movements that occur in the markets on a daily basis.

In this new iPhone version, we’ve completely redesigned our interface, while also adding some new features in order to maintain parity with our web application. By doing so, users retain the same functionality utilized on the web, while on the go.

Customize Your Own Home Page

Our brand new Home Page allows you to create your own launch pad when starting up the app. The Home Page contains your favorite watchlists, markets, and news stream, so that you stay up to date with the companies and topics most important to you.

Additionally, we’ve designed it so that you can customize/modify your watchlists and markets in your preferred order. You can also rearrange the order of document types, manage tweet sensitivity, and toggle which document types appear in your News Stream.

Finally, for all of your watchlist tickers, our Upcoming Earnings section ensures that you won’t miss any earnings calls or relevant updates during earnings season.

Complete Control of Your Watchlists

In our refreshed watchlist page, not only did we update the user experience, we also included new features that allow you to modify, create, or delete your watchlists directly from the iPhone application. You can select which watchlists to favorite, and those would subsequently appear on your Home Page.

By tapping on the pencil icon, you activate the Watchlist Manager. When in Watchlist Manager mode, you can delete watchlists, create a brand new watchlist from scratch, or modify any watchlists by adding or removing tickers from them.

Tap on a watchlist and you’ll be taken to its Overview page, where you can view relevant documents, articles, tweets, etc. that are part of all the tickers that make up that watchlist.

Quickly Research Company Financials and Documents in the Company Overview

In our brand new Overview page, we’ve revamped the interface to allow you to search a company and immediately view high-level information about it. You will be able to instantly get a birds-eye view about any company that you search for. 

From this page, you can instantly access quick historical and forward-looking financial information such as:

• Market Cap
• Day’s Range
• Open/Prev Close
• Revenue
• And more

You can tap on the “More Data” icon to expose the financial mini-model for the selected company to view the data above.

You can also track historical price data through the price chart that’s displayed on the Overview page.

With our latest update, Sentieo V4.3, you can now bring your Price Monitor with you wherever you are. Simply load up any Views that you’ve created on the web application, include any tickers and watchlists you want to apply the View for, and you’re all set. 

At the touch of your fingertips, you can upload any available watchlists that you currently have on your account, or any available company that’s searchable within Sentieo. Simply tap on the Ticker/Watchlist bar, type in the name of the watchlist or ticker, and select one to load it onto the Price Monitor.

The data displayed on the Price Monitor refreshes every couple seconds to ensure that the most accurate data is being displayed, however, you also have the option to manually refresh the screen by tapping on the “Refresh” icon on the top right corner of the screen.

In addition, any existing Price Monitor views that are created on your account via Sentieo’s web application will be available on your iPad. Simply tap on the “Views” dropdown list and select a view from your “Recently Used Views” or tap on “More & Manage Views” to navigate through the full menu.

After you’ve loaded a View and watchlists/tickers into your Price Monitor, you have the ability to sort various columns from highest to lowest, lowest to highest, or in alphabetical order. If you need to expand or collapse a watchlist, simply tap on the name or tap on the chevron icon next to the watchlist. 

Sentieo’s iPad offline functionality also works for our Price Monitor as well. If you are traveling in areas with no internet access available, our Price Monitor will notify you when you are in Offline Mode, as well as display the last updated date for any information displayed on the Price Monitor. That way, you can rest easy knowing that any pre-existing data is still there for your reference.

PLEASE NOTE: the Price Monitor is view-only, and currently only available for iPad. All of your account Views and Watchlists will be synced from the web application, so you must create them there first if you wish to view them on the iPad.

In this post, we’ll be highlighting some of the main features that are accessible in our Mobile Apps.

Innovative Search and Filtering (iPhone and iPad Notebook)

As you create more notes and content within your Sentieo Notebook throughout your time on the platform, it is now even easier to search and filter through your content. Whether you’re traveling to conferences, visiting clients, or on your commute, Sentieo makes it simple to easily find the note you’re looking for.

When you’re on Sentieo’s Mobile app (iPhone or iPad), simply tap on the Search icon. When you tap on it, it’ll pull up the following screen:

You can immediately start typing away, and the search box will categorize into the following sections:

• Notes containing “searchphrase”
• Notes with Tickers
• Notes with Tags
• Notes with Labels

When you select an option, it will automatically tokenize a ticker (if selected) or tag. You can also stack search phrases, so that you can search for any combination of tickers, tags, labels, or general queries.

Watchlist Search

You now have the ability to seamlessly search through your watchlists on our Mobile Doc Search (iPhone and iPad), just like you can in our Web App. Simply type in the name of the watchlist that you want to search through and tap on the name or hit “Enter”. 

Please note that all watchlists will be synced over from your account on the Web App and can be managed there.

New Document Sources

We’ve improved our process for making new document sources accessible in our Mobile apps so you’ll start to see minimal wait time when new document sources are added to the Sentieo platform. For example, you can already access the new regulatory sources added with this release (Whitehouse.gov, Department of Energy, Covid-19) in our Mobile apps, as well as PubMed, EPA, and FDA sources.

Simply tap on the “Filters” icon when you’re in the Mobile Doc Search, and you will be able to access the new Regulatory Filings or Professional Journals in addition to the rest of the Document Types.

In addition to the newest features above, here’s a quick summary of the notable features we’ve released this past year:

Private Company Data: You can now search for Private Company data on the Sentieo mobile app! Users now have the ability to search for private company news and press releases using Document Search as well in the Notebook. Note that this feature is in beta as we continue to expand the types of documents and data available in Sentieo for private companies.

Structured Fields in Notebook: structured field tables will now be visible on mobile (iPhone & iPad). Please note that the Structured Fields in Mobile will be currently view-only at the moment. 

Universal Links: any links opened from email alerts will drop you into the correct part of the mobile app from now on. This will primarily impact filing and saved search alerts.

With both in-app and mobile alerts, never miss any important developments in the companies and industries you care about.

• Access your Sentieo charts via iPhone, iPad, or offline, including: historical price charts, intraday charts, trading multiples, estimates charts, and growth charts
• Stay on top of your News Stream of social media, news, company documents, market data, multiples, and more

Research Management 

Get a constant live stream of the content your team is sharing. Save your email inbox from overflowing by using the Sentieo Notebook app.

• Create notes that are searchable across mobile – and access all of your custom note templates.
• Highlighting and annotating documents — both online and offline (any highlight or annotation you make is automatically tagged and saved to your Notebook)
• Forward any email (with or without attachments) to your Sentieo account, and the email content will automatically be tagged, saved to your Notebook, and made searchable
• Clip and tag any website or article to send it directly to your Notebook with Mobile Clipper
• Collaborate with others via mobile by sharing any note or saved asset with a colleague, team, or your entire organization. Eliminate long email chains with our commenting functionality.
